Review of Blood of My Blood (2015) by Benton M — 20 Jun 2009
Great story, although like most of it's predecessors, it ignores the awful countries these people leave to get to America. the lives illegal immigrants live, in the shadows, in the slums and taking the worst jobs shows how bad they used to have it.
they could always go back, but they chose to stay. that's very telling. now to what was in the film. your in for a rough life, fear of deportation, the lowest of the low jobs and the streets as a home.
not too pleasant. yet with enough discipline, as the father showed, a a saving can be had. it ain't easy, but then again nothing worth have is.
