What a frosty chick.

A reform school for girls has recently been plagued by a series of slayings. Unfortunately, it is Halloween season and teenage girls have their needs. As the Halloween parties begin, the slayings continue. Can the girls overcome the killer(s)?

"You could have killed us all.".

"I tried to.".

Herbert Strock, director of Don't Cry Wolf, Witches' Brew, How to Make a Monster, Teenage Frankenstein, and Gog, delivers Blood of Dracula. The storyline for this picture is interesting and well delivered. Strock focused on the settings and characters more than the actual story but the conclusion of the film is well done. The acting was solid and the settings and soundtracks were well selected.

"I'm on a scavenger hunt.".

"What do you have to bring back, a dead body?".

We DVR's this film last Halloween season and just recently watched this picture. While I enjoyed many aspects of this film, it seemed to be a loose horror picture at best. The horror elements of the film did not occur until the final couple scenes. Overall, this is worth watching but should have been a little longer and delivered a more complete picture.

"We'll make some puppy love.".

Grade: C+.
