Review of Blood for Dracula (1974) by Joshua C — 09 Sep 2009
Wonderful mise-en-scene is constantly corrupted by overly dramatic contemporary and essentially wooden stage acting and gratuitous nudity. Warhol and his Factory must have been stoned out of their collective minds for a campy â??Wur-ginâ?? fest of campy crap! I give this surprising muck a big up thumbs for the pure fact that good production values, Joe Dallesandro, and the line â??The blood of these whores is killing meâ?? are worth their weight in hunk when it comes to camp.
