Review of Blood for Dracula (1974) by Liam P — 22 Sep 2009
It's a funny piss-take on the Dracula story made all the more watchable due to the pretty good technicals behind it. The score is quite lovely and Kier looks the part, however, the wooden acting never really convinces as to whether it is entirely deliberate so one's left with the question as to the seriousness of what's going on.
Still, there are scenes of great humour and the blood-letting is hilariously funny, particularly Kier's vomiting scenes.
