Totally gripping story, with great acting from the two male leads. Did feel pretty heavy-handed at times, troweling on the sentimentality, and also felt a bit of an exploitative white man's view of the situation.
On the other hand, it probably brought the horrific story of Sierra Leone (and the ongoing African situation) to more people's attention than many a news report did.
