Review of Blood Diamond (2006) by Douglas L — 02 Jun 2012

Great story as well as acting, but its not AS good as I remembered it. Leonardo does a good job with his character, but its really hard to feel sympathy for him, as he is mainly just using people to get money for the diamond and get him out of a pickle.

Its also a really good awareness movie about child soldiers, and the diamond business. People were always saying LEO LEO, but Dijmon Hounsou did just as good of a performance as Leo did in this one. Its good acting, story and has just the right amount of action.

Definitely one to see!
