Review of Blood Diamond (2006) by Faye M — 18 May 2013

I never cried as much in my life. It was equally sad, frightening and beautiful, and a powerful performance from Leonardo Dicaprio (as Danny Archer) and Djimon Hounsou (as Solomon Vandy). The plot was cleverly written and a perfect cast selection was made for each character.

The setting was magnificent and the view for the near-end scene was breathtaking. Without a doubt, five stars. *****.
