Review of Blood Diamond (2006) by Jake H — 06 Apr 2014

I don't think I've ever encountered a film that was such an emotional powerhouse. I seriously teared up about five times over the course of one of the best 2 and a half ours of my life watching this movie.

I couldn't really find any negatives about this movie. The acting was superb and powerful, the soundtrack conveyed the emotion of each scene perfectly, and the action was thrilling and often times disturbing.

Blood Diamond is by far one of the best movies I have ever seen. An epic, thrilling, and powerful adventure that never loses touch with its humanity.
