Review of Blood Diamond (2006) by Ian I — 30 Apr 2015
Powerfully acted and realistic, Blood Diamond is scarily realistic. It gives a great of view of what Sierra Leone was in 1999 and and what Africa is still like. Its sad to see all the poverty and child soldiers.
This movie is dramatic, educational about its story, and also entertaining. Leonardo DiCaprio and Djimon Hounsou were both well deserving for their Oscar nominations of best actor and best supporting actor.
