Review of Blood Creek (2009) by Phil N — 18 Jan 2014
Two brothers team up to take down the family who held one of them captive for two years. Turns out said family are mixed up in some experiments dating back to the Third Reich and a runestone on their property which holds the key to immortality.
Joel Schumacherâ(TM)s film begins strongly but tails off into a series of stand offs towards the end which does little to carry the story forward. Thereâ(TM)s a gem of an idea here, and it doesnâ(TM)t skimp on the gore, but Blood Creek just gets a little bogged down in its execution.
Still, it does feature a zombie horse!
