Review of Blood and Chocolate (2007) by Karry D — 02 Jan 2009
Simple story, lacking any real depth. The plot synopsis above tells the whole tale. Characters were paper thin, acting was so-so, and much of the movie was filmed in the dark, literally, to the point where it was difficult to figure out exactly what was occuring, albeit for the glowing 1970's special effects.
If you put aside the necessary requirement for a story to have a theme or at the very least, develop a useful plot vehicle, and just focus on the Romeo & Juliet end of the story, you might actually enjoy it.
As for me, I like my super-natural creatures to be just that.
