Review of Blood and Chocolate (2007) by Jenna R — 09 Apr 2009

The book was full of silly and juvenile teenagers trying to find their place in the werewolf world, and the movie is no different, but beyond that the only thing the two share is the title. Despite the drastic rewrite of the characters, story, and setting, there's not much improvement from the ridiculous YA novel.

Hugh Dancy is always good, but there's not much to work with here, even if they did make him a fugitive graphic novel writer. The problem with werewolves is that they're too, pardon the pun, animalistic and emotional.

Give me vampires any day.
