Review of Blood and Chocolate (2007) by Krystie O — 09 Jun 2012
Interesting movie. Wanted to try something like twilight.
Good storyline. No major actors and actresses.
Good start with the build up of the main character. Her past and current predicament.
The 'cousin' had an interesting characteristic that was never exploited well enough. He had a spirit of rebellion and lust for power, hence his rage when the lady walked off after he egotistically and inappropriately grabbed her tushy. He was eliminated too early.
The human is Kool and has a good character except it's odd for his immediate attraction, although it was because he appreciated the curiosity if his work which m she displayed at the start.
How the aunt did the u turn of not wanting to kill the Human wasn't done well. A change of heart too easily. And that there was no emphasis of her bond with her son (the cousin) probably besides when he was at the chocolate shop. Also the twist that his father was the leader. Didn't emphasise that either.
Good ending, where the Human was a clever chap with his background reading. So prepared well, which they showed u him grabbing a rope on the roof. Good shot to hurt the main guy. Good weapons of the silver and fire use too.
How they ride off in Paris in the ending promo with her narration was good.
Worth a watch guys.
