Review of Blood and Chocolate (2007) by Wicked A — 21 Jul 2012

I was so hesitant to watch this one due to the cheesy 80's soft-core, Red Shoe Diaries looking cover. My fears of this being Twilight for wolves was only mildly subsided after I got through the first half of the movie.

To my delight, it wasn't teenage high school corny, it was a sweet, simple love story set in dark (Underworld'ish) Romania, but with terrible marketing. My biggest problem with it was the glowing cop-out on the wolf transformations, this element was the only sparkly tie to Twilight.

Overall, I would say it's nothing to write home to mom about, but a sweet story to pass the time.
