Review of Blood and Bone (2009) by Ravi C — 01 Apr 2010
This is not a good movie! When it comes to martial arts movies I expect something a lot better.
First of all the story is flamboyant, overly and unnecessarily complicated and it tires you before getting to the point ... the action. Most of the actors are horrendous and only Michael Jai White (Bone) does an ok job. The music is simply too much and the photography and direction are amateurish.
So after all that, we finally reach some action. The action scenes are not realistic and far too motionless. The "fighters" are just standing there like sandbags waiting to have their bottoms kicked.
I have watched dozens of martial arts movies and to be honest this one, is second class.
