Review of Blood and Black Lace (1964) by Adam T — 17 Jun 2008
Sleek and stylish, and filmed like a garish, candy-colored nightmare. It's immensely fun to look at, but unfortunately, it is neither scary nor suspenseful, the "acting" grated on my nerves, and despite the promise of the title, there is actually very little blood.
A film cannot survive on aesthetics alone, and this was a tremendous disappointment.
