Review of Blood Alley (1955) by Bill T — 12 Oct 2011
Choppy and slow John Wayne drama here. Here he's paired up with legitamitely-bored looking Lauren Bacall as he steers a ferry boat of Chinese immigrants to Hong Kong! That'lll teach those Commies! Throughout this, Wayne just can't stop puffing up his cheeks and start verbal hemmoraging the Reds.
Meanwhile, the story is awkwardly put together and just ENDS without no real satisifactory climax. Not a very big highlight of either one of their careers, I'm afraid.
