Exactly what you would expect it to be. Lots of PC bullshit and identity politics. Loaded with teen drug use, poor decisions, and shallow characterization. Neither funny nor touching. I don't think I laughed once.
The supposedly much-lauded writing isn't very good. John Cena, however, was SURPRISINGLY good. Anniston Almond did great in her first appearance in the opening. The other leads were decent, with Mann bringing up the rear.
Besides that, the film was meh. Lots of missed opportunities for humor and touching situations. Highly overrated.
