A British cop film in the exact same spirit as the Dirty Harry films. The only thing that's a little jarring is the acting direction of Jason Statham and Aidan Gillen. The entire film is shot and acted in a very low key atmosphere.
However, Statham acts like he does in The Expendables and Gillen is a complete caricature. I would have preferred if the entire film maintained the same low key tone. However, Elliott Lester's sequencing, especially in the suspenseful segments, are very well done.
