Review of Blitz (2011) by Derek S — 24 Aug 2011
A very fun, albeit run-of-the-mill action thriller starring Jason Statham as an elite cop, who after several slayings of this own blood, decides to take matters into his own hands. Jason Statham rarely does wrong as an action hero, with the exception of Chaos, and Transporter 3, but he didn't disappoint here.
He's as bad-ass as we're all used to seeing him, and that alone should attract you to this film. For the low budget is what made off of, and the fact that it was a direct-to-dvd release, Blitz doesn't do half bad.
It surpassed my expectations.
