Review of Blitz (2011) by Tim F — 07 Oct 2011
Jason completely fullfills the bad copper stereotype! Super-bad attitude and a deep crunching voice. He also shows us how tough it is being a cop these days, especially in this society. He's the example of how it should be done, a slik bastard and a lose canon.
Then a speedfreak-like bloke comes arround with a catchy nickname, a bum -'the master of the f*cking universe', who tips off the media which seems the biggest enemy of the police. There's this other course with the girl, slightly underappreciated, given that they have shown it at all.
But it gives the nescesairy pauze from him. Also the attention for the 'completely out of place'- partner is weird but therefor also intresting, however still questionable. After the 'villains' failure it seems that it's come to a halt.
Or is it? The tendency of being a british cult-movie is noticable, but that's all. The UK-electro soundtrack is nice! Sadly the laim ending resembles how stupid the villain is. Typical rush!
