An interesting little flick that benefits from a terrific performance from Mayor Carcetti himself Aiden Gillen.
The story itself is not that special but the cast elevate the material pretty easily. Staham is on reliably good form as is Paddy Considine but it's Gillen's work that makes this memorable. London is made to look pretty cool again which makes a nice change as well. The flick falls apart a little at the end where events begin to strain credibility but overall this is a lot better than it deserves to be.
