Police procedural offers nothing new. it has a good, slimy villian going around killing coppers. Statham doesn't do his trademark roundhouse kicks to 5 guys, he is more a tough cop who loves drinking and looking grizzled and wants to get the bad guys.
Most characters are on the sidelines to Statham and Gillen who are both good. Considine wasted badly. not bad for a lazy weekend action/drama fix.
