Best film of 2021 so far. I kept thinking I was watching a good Michel Gondry movie. There's subversion of expectations elegantly doled out. Multiple pensive metaphors running throughout which you can either acknowledge or ignore without detriment to the movie.
The negative reviews are depressing.
