Review of Blind Dating (2006) by Priscilla U — 28 Sep 2008
Chris Pine is a beautiful screen presence but even that can't save this turkey from failing to convince in every area of its existence. It doesn't work as a disease of the week special or as a romance or as a science fiction tale.
In fact its journey through all three genres throughout its running time merely highlights the lack of focus of the screenplay. The most embarrassing element of all, however, involves Jane Seymour. How she was dragged into this, one will never know.
It's a disaster.
