Review of Blind Date (1987) by Lou E — 28 Jul 2007
There's a certain lack of cool that I associate with any Blake Edwards movie and that is certainly the case with this one. But it does have Bruno!
Kim looks better than she does on the poster and she's good but John Larroquette steals the show, at least the first half of it. The second second half gets stupider as it goes and it's really beyond anyone to save it.
From Moonlighting to this was an obvious move ror Bruce, I guess, but it's never as clever as that show at its best, and for most of its run time it's no better than that show at its silliest.
