Review of Blind Date (1987) by Martin D — 11 Apr 2010
This movie really didn't have much to it story wise. It fact the whole story aspect of it was pretty much poor. I would consider this movie just something fun to watch when you want to laugh and not really think that much.
Bruce Willis is great in this movie just by how he acts. He keeps getting this crazed look in his eyes. Then Kim Basinger plays a pretty funny drunk girl. Her normal acting was not to par at all, but when she got into the drunk state, she was pretty funny.
There were many other good cast members, but they really didn't have big parts. The only other one who was pretty funny was John Marroquette, who played the ex boyfriend of Basinger's character.
He was crazy and when him and Willis got into it, it was entertaining to watch. So it was a fun film to watch.
