Review of Blind Chance (1987) by Melissa A — 21 Feb 2009
I have continued on with watching Krzysztof Kieslowski's film collection. In this movie, Polish medical student Witek is presented with three different possible outcomes revolving around a train to Warsaw which he may or make not catch in time.
The direction of this movie reminded me for a moment of the one concept in Run Lola Run with the three runs leading to different endings. Unfortunately, I wasn't taken in by any of the stories. I did like the symbolism of the usage of a toy slinky in what I felt was human frailty in a world of full of choices both on personal and political ranks.
However, not enough enjoyable moments for me to give this a higher rating.
