Review of Bless the Child (2000) by Thinker R — 03 Nov 2009
This horror film is unique because apart from the dark subject matter there is an affirmation of faith, love, and the power of good to conquer evil. The little autistic child draws you into the story, and ultimately wins your heart.
The only major flaw is the ending; it was way too dues ex machina. The intervention of God is fine, but I feel the human protagonists should have had more to do with the rescue. God should have worked through the human protagonist to overcome the evil, rather than a buch of angels appearing and ending the whole conflict.
The ending is why I give it three stars.
