Review of Blended (2014) by Alex K — 21 Sep 2014
Had the pieces of a good comedy...but had a bunch of extra pieces that made it a bad one. I think Adam Sandler has been doing this too long and his list of friends that want to be in his movie has gotten out of control.
Some of his friends are just awful (looking at you, Crews) and kill the movie. A friend he desperately needs is an editor...and not the one from this movie, who clearly didn't care if scenes ran long or needed to be cut altogether for being repetitive.
...at 2 hours, it was at least 30 minutes too long.
