After an endless slue of fart joke and old lady voice- Kevin James in a chicken bucket- god awful family/getting old "comedies" I expected sandler to lay another egg.
Half way through I start looking over my shoulders. "No way did he finally do it. No way".
But he did! He finally made a movie about an aging man reviving his romantic life in a family environment! And it's tolerable. I dare say enjoyable at times! I actually laughed at parts that weren't the written by credits. It was even enjoyable at most times. Cliche? I guess. Done before? Like 37 times. But he did it. Drew had no small part in that either don't think I didn't notice drew.
It's a decent decent movie. I'm not screaming for a sequel. But feel free to burn your copies of that's my boy in the furnace. Adam's got a little left in the tank. Good for you big guy.
