Solid entertainment, though its straightforward nature hold it back from ever being as truly great as it could have been given its inspirational story. The performances are solid all around with Miles Teller and Aaron Eckhardt showcasing their best performances in years, possibly ever.
It has a great, subtle sense of humor that carries its all-too-slow middle act. Its script could have used some trimming, but for the most part a solid effort from all involved.
