Bleed for This is a generic boxing movie that is elevated by Miles Teller's excellent performance. The cast also helps him a lot, and the movie is more man vs self than man vs man. The antagonists aren't very fleshed out and the movie's direction isn't the sharpest, but it delivers a straight forward comeback sports movie, and its as simple as that.
