Brooks couldn't let a frame go by, it seems, without reaching for a gag; some miss, but some hit so perfectly that genres crumble and stereotypes turn inside-out. Brooks has a couple of cameos; as a Native American, looking at black settlers, his first word is predictable but perfect: "Schvartzes.
