Review of Blazing Saddles (1974) by Lois P — 24 Apr 2014
Totally one of the more tolerable spoof movies.
This one mainly satirizes the Wild West and throwing in a bit of racial humor even scandalous bits of it.
The laughs are very far and few in between but thank goodness they work so well and never bring the film down once.
Love Gene Wilder and Cleavon Little, even Dom Deluise in a supporting role.
The ending is very strange and out of place but that's the loveableness that Mel Brooks likes to toy around with.
