A wonderfully acted piece of roamnceand political satire based on the lengendary govenor long and his girl the stripper named blaze starr. While the second half of the film begins to wander into hokum, the performances from paul newman and lolita davidovich help evelate this film from being another movie of the week.
Worth watching iof your looking for something different or to see anbother great performance from legendary paul newman.
