Review of Blast from the Past (1999) by Lise W — 13 Aug 2011
An enjoyable comedy where the paranoid Calvin (Christopher Walken) and wife (Dale Raoul) build an underground bunker. The family live in this 1960's timecapsule for 30 years because they fear the Russians have nuked the place.
Brendan Fraser plays the son and is funny and charismatic. This film could have been a lot funnier, but it was entertaining. Would recommend as a light hearted rom-com.
