Genius, Darryl Walker just wants to feel safe, when the police are on strike, the Mayor has appointed several mobsters including Don Michael "The Suit" Minelli as respectable civil servants and there is a "crack house" adjacent the street from their home? Walker's role model and older brother, Kevin a enterprising young reporter, like most people apathetically keeps his head down.
It takes the murder of Darryl's supportive grandmother to inspire him to become Blankman....
