Review of Blank Check (1994) by Gustavmarkovic31 . — 11 Sep 2012
A great premise wasted. Walt Disney's well thought out mischevious kiddie movie has a great storyline, yet they have presented the movie all wrong. Brian Bonsall was an okayish lead choice, but they could've done better.
the soundtrack is positively awful, I despise the 80's style soundtrack music, and some of the storyline events were not well planned. the baddies were quite humorous, but didn't quite lift the film.
and when the movie started to become Home Alone, that was enough. Great for kiddies looking for a 'thrill-ride', but otherwise, it doesn't really appeal to many other age/genre groups.
