Review of Blank Check (1994) by Leonard D — 22 Jan 2017
When a trend in cinema catches on, the inevitable shameless ripoffs turn a perfectly good screenplay idea into a lazy insult to the intelligence to anyone of a double-digit age. An uninspired screenplay followed by every cliche you can come up with a kids comedy in the 90's (kid who feels unappreciated parents, bumbling bad guys, obese supporting stars who humor revolves around their weight, montages instead of development, get the idea?), this assembly-line rubbish never even tries to be original or interesting.
Don't even both with it. Watch you Nostalgia Critic's review and you'll see more than enough and be more entertained.
