Review of Blank (2022) by Darkhorse88 — 16 May 2023
Good film! A famous author (Rachel Shelley - great) checks in to a futuristic retreat to help write her new book. With an artificial intelligence assistant (Heida Reed - excellent) and a hologram character played by Wayne Brady, this isn't going to be that straightforward, as you can imagine.
What's impressive is how this plays out and discovering not just what can go wrong with AI, that's too obvious, but what exactly is wrong with Claire, the writer. I can't spoil it but it isn't always the AI that's broken.
