Review of Blair Witch (2016) by Jasmine D — 17 Sep 2016
The first movie was boring and was just a bunch of adults screaming and being paranoid for an hour. The second movie was a disappoint and wasn't even found footage. The third movie was one of the most clichéd things I've ever watched.
It had almost every cliché a camping horror movie can have. First, you have the normal guy who's a hopeless dreamer, a tech savvy nerd who does most of the filming, the best friend who's also the goofball, the fashionista female who will make every dumb mistake and be the first to get injured and die, the stoner hippie and his earthly girlfriend, and usually the black guy dies first and the innocent white virgin dies last.
Honestly, I knew from the very beginning who would die first and who would die last. I also knew the witch would kill them all in the end. This movie was no different from the first one. Very unoriginal but I loved the graphics and special effects which I way I give this movie a 3/5 and not a 1/5.
