A surprisingly fun, scary, and well-acted movie. Many moments had me laughing due to the funny and likable characters, and then many moments had me literally cowering due to the insanely frightening things happening on screen. Blair Witch also heavily succeeds in making you feel like you are there with the characters, and it adds much tension to the whole experience as it progresses.
Despite a few cheesy moments and cheap jumpscares here and there, as well as a rather abrupt ending, this is a fun and highly effective found footage movie with some shockingly, immensely scary moments towards the final act.
