This remake starts out purposely making you feel like it's just another teenybopper crappy scary movie. I am 34 years old so I was around to see the original and I think that it sucked big-time so anything would've been an improvement.

Seeing it in the theater it's course is going to be more dramatic by the time this movie was finished we were panicking it was absolutely terrifying.
