While the overall feel fails to replicate the originals unsettling eeriness, this sequel does a fine job of providing its own share of scares. The story line and progression closely replicates that of the original with the final act being one of the most unnerving I've seen over the last few years.

If you rely on "scary" imagery in order to enjoy a horror film, I wouldn't recommend it, but if you enjoy the setting and story of the first as much as I did, I think you will at least appreciate the effort that was put forth here.
