Blair Witch may have been an enjoyable enough movie, but it's not exactly making leaps and bounds for change.

Pros:

-The last 10-15 minutes were pretty scary, actually, even if it does end a little abruptly.

-All acting in the movie was also pretty good and definitely helped the movie.

-A lack of any sort of music definitely added to the constant tension the movie attempted (and succeeded) in creating.

Cons:

-Being a found footage movie, the cinematography was, naturally, awful in some cases.

-A lot of questions are brought up that are never really answered, unless you count "it was the Blair Witch!!!!!!" as an answer.

-The reason these questions exist is because the story is a bit of a mess in some cases, which is kind of a shame. I haven't seen the first film, but it's also apparently an almost beat for best recreation of the Blair Witch Project, which is also a bit of a shame.

In conclusion, Blair Witch is a somewhat enjoyable horror movie, if that's your type of movie anyway, if you're a little willing to switch off and look past some of its flaws. If you don't like found footage horror movies, then you won't like this movie. If you can at least tolerate or somewhat enjoy them, then there'll be at least something in this movie for you.
