One of the worst movies I have seen in a long time. As someone who saw the original at the time when it was going through the country in small theatres, under the premise that it was from real film footage was found, this non-remake remake was just terrible.

The main reason "The Blair Witch Project" kept you on the edge of your seat was due to what we didn't "see". With "Blair Witch" being tailored for modern-day Twenty-something's, everything had to be "seen", there were no surprises and the advances in technology since 1999 (i.

E.: "let's use a drone!) just made this movie a pathetic attempt at trying to do something better and ultimately failing miserably.
