Review of Blair Witch (2016) by Finnigan37 — 20 Sep 2016
I thought this film was a success. Yes, it was similar to the original, but it also did a good job of building tension and doling out just enough of the looming threats to keep the audience wanting more.
In this regard it was actually substantially more generous than the original, which keeps it tense and satisfying even though you know what's coming. I think it's being underrated here and is better than a majority of cheesy horror films released every year.
