Review of Blair Witch (2016) by Christy H — 19 Sep 2016

Being the sequel to the founder of pretty much an entire sub-genre of horror, can't be easy. As it stands, I think this movie does a fairly decent job. It has flaws but has a lot of good things as well.

The cinematography is actually better than a lot of more traditional movies and having some new 'tricks' to the witch's arsenal, is net. I wish they had done more of that. I guess some people might have expected too much, but as it goes I left feeling very satisfied.
