Review of Blair Witch (2016) by Ashley R — 25 Sep 2016

This scared the crap out of me. Of course it's a rehash of the original, it's not like there was ever that much plot to the franchise. More work was put into the fake history then plot. I never thought the original was scary but this one had my heart pounding at the end.

The sound work on this film was the most intense part, the forest sounds were so unnerving. Yes there is a lot of screaming and shouting but there was in the original too. I thought it was a good update that added more to the witches power then we ever saw in the first one.
